Our Support Options
At Equal Hearts, we take pride in creating a warm, nurturing environment for individuals with disabilities across the Sydney area. Our goal is to provide more than just support — we aim to build a space where every participant feels valued, respected, and empowered to grow. Through carefully structured programs and a personalised approach, we help our clients work toward their own unique goals, whether that’s developing life skills, building confidence, or simply enjoying meaningful social experiences.
We also understand that accessibility is key. That’s why we offer pick-up services from home, making it easier for participants and families to engage with our programs without added stress. This commitment to convenience supports our broader mission: to promote independence, inclusion, and a true sense of belonging — every step of the way.
Equal Steps Program
The Equal Steps Program runs in 10-week cycles, and we require ongoing bookings for your selected day or days. We adapt every activity to suit individual abilities and offer flexible support ratios, including 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3 across the program. Pick ups from 8:00 am - 9:00am and drop offs from 3:00pm - 4:00 pm, with pick-up and drop-off from home included.
Between each 10-week cycle, we will run a two-week block of life skills-focused day programs. This provides a change of pace, with a focus on practical skills and community-based activities, and is not necessarily aligned with the usual daily themes.
The Equal Steps Program is designed to build life skills in a consistent, structured, and meaningful way, supporting participants to grow their confidence and independence over time.
